Visitors are greeted as they enter the new facility by wonderful displays on each side of the doors. These displays are provided by area organizations and individuals who have a wide variety of collections, from art to artifacts.

The library features a children’s section and a research room. The research room contains a microfilm reader, a magnifier to assist patrons who have trouble reading smaller print books, and adaptive equipment that will scan books or pages and then verbally read them aloud for individuals that are seeing impaired or need assistance reading. You will find microfilm rolls containing census records and Benton County probate records on hand, or you can sign up for an inter-library loan for reels from other libraries.

Another new feature is a meeting room that is available free of charge to non-profit and civic organizations, complete with projection screen. Organizations planning a meeting should contact the library to check the schedule of availability.
