YEARLY EVENTS: 


JANUARY

Eagle Days - An annual event at the Harry S. Truman Visitor Center. Live Eagle programs presented by Dickerson Zoo, Children's activity center, Informational booths throughout, art/photography displays and more. Normally held on the Saturday of Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. You may also view live Eagles soaring the sky around the area. Additional information call 660-438-2216.

FEBRUARY

Business Expo - This event is held at the Community Building. The local businesses will be there to show off their goods or services.

MARCH

Give Back Quarter Mania 
- This event is the largest fundraising for local team benefiting the Relay for Life. Great fun bidding on items with quarters. Dinner is included.

APRIL

Wine Stroll 
- This event is sponsored by Benton County Community Foundation and the proceeds go towards the annual grant process that provides money to not for profit organizations throughout Benton County

JUNE

Jubilee Days - Fun, Fun, Fun...Warsaw's old fashion town festival. Enjoy carnival rides, great food, royalty contest, country music, games and, of course a PARADE!

JULY

The Dam Experience - The largest fireworks on Truman Lake shot off the Harry S. Truman Dam. The fireworks can be enjoyed by water or land. Picnic and enjoy the day, followed by tons of fireworks. 

Rodeo - A two day event. Sponsored by Warsaw Masonic Lodge. This event is URA and MRCA sanctioned.

Warsaw Area Sprint Triathlon - Drake Harbor plays hosts to the Warsaw Area Sprint Triathlon. This is a sanctioned event.

AUGUST 

Relay for Life - This event is held at Drake Harbor and the raises thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society. 

OCTOBER

Heritage Days - A two day event celebrating our heritage. Held the third weekend. Visit www.warsawmo.org for more information. 

Boo on the Square - Local businesses decorate a space at the square and hand out treats. The streets around the square are closed to make this a safe evening for the children.

NOVEMBER

Downtown Open House - This event is held the second Saturday of November along with the Craft and Collectibles Show. Downtown businesses are decorated and ready for Christmas. The Craft and Collectibles Show is held at the Community Building.

DECEMBER

Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting and Drake Harbor/Downtown Lighting - The beautiful Drake Harbor is decorated with displays and the City decorates Main Street. The Mayor's Tree is lit. Main Street and Drake Harbor are breathtaking and can be enjoyed all month long.

Santa Days - Local children can meet Santa, have their picture taken, enjoy refreshments, crafts and entertainment.

Christmas Parade - Open to all to participate. Starting times can vary due to weather conditions, but tend to start at
11:00 AM. 

Jingle Bell Run - 5K that takes place at the Drake Harbor immediately following the Mayor's Christmas tree lighting.

Kaysinger Christmas - A two day event. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the 1800's at the Harry S. Truman Visitor Center.
