The new City Compost Area: Due to a request by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the City of Warsaw has relocated its compost facility. It remains in the Industrial Park, but is now on Industrial Drive, south of the Profit Packaging Building. City crews have installed gates and designated the area. Following is the essence of the related City Ordinance: The facility has been constructed for use only by residents of the City of Warsaw, and only for the disposal of yard wastes, which shall consist solely of grass clippings, shrub clippings, leaves, flowers and weeds up to 6" in diameter. No commercial dumping allowed. Hours: Dusk to Dawn Persons found in violation of this Section shall be fined pursuant to Chapter 100, Article III, Section100.220 the General Penalty Section of the City of Warsaw.
6.376 acres. Frontage of Tract A is along the service road that parallels Old Highway 65 with excellent visibility from new State Highway 65. Northeast boundary borders Industrial Drive and rear access is available with the extension of a street from Industrial Drive.
5.121 acres. Frontage of Tract D is along the north side of Tamara Lane and the Northern Boundary along Hirsch Family Park.
2.380 acres. Frontage of Tract H is along the south side of Tamara Lane. Rear access would be from the service road.
9.904 acres. Frontage of Tract I is along the south side of Tamara Lane. Northwest boundary has access to service road from Industrial Drive.
